Savarkar statue vandalized in Aurangabad

Aurangabad,March 11, 2018: Anti-socialists, vandalized on Saturday night, threw black ink on the statue of freedom fighter Vinayak Savarkar in Aurangabad Samarthanagar Chowk. So there was a tension for some time.


The Bharatiya Janata Party and the Brahmin Mahasabha's activists gathered in the square as soon as the Savarkar statue was rebutched. He started the announcement betting. Stop the path and protest the incident. So the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vinayak Dakane, along with other police officers, went to the spot. They talked with the protesters and promised to arrest the accused. Then the agitation was withdrawn. On the spot, the letters that were opposed to Brahmanvada were found thrown near the statues. Savarkar's statue was washed and milked. After this, the Savarkar Mitra Mandal decorated the statue with flowers. Atul Save, mayor Nandkumar Ghodele, former corporator Sameer Rajurkar, Prithviraj Pawar, corporator Raju Vaidya, Sachin Khaire, Rishikesh Khaire, former corporator Sameer Rajurkar, Anand Tandulwadikar, Gopal Kulkarni, Anil Makreya, Mahendra Shinde, Surendra Kulkarni etc. were present on the occasion.
