Thirty Lakh Muslims attended Ijtema
in Aurangabad peacefully

February, 2018: A 3-day convention Ijtema of tableeghi Jamat which was started
in Aurangabad near Limbe Jalgaon village in Gangapur taluka on Saturday.
More than 25
lakh Muslims may attend the Ijtema this time said by some volunteers. As per
the introductory calculations by the police special branch reported around 30
lakh people attended the Ijtema.
In this mega
event around 30 lakh people participated, due to overcrowding some 5,000
policeman deployed which also include three officers of the rank of commissioner
and assistant commissioner, 25 police inspector and 20 sub inspector. Four
companies of the state reserve police force. 1,000 traffic police and eight
squads of the Bomb detection and disposal squad have also been called for the
Ijtema according to a report.
